Favorite Songs of 2005
Every few months or so, I make a CD of all the songs that I’ve played over and over – it’s a good way to remember what songs made my heart stop, my breath catch and which inspired me to bounce wildly in the driver’s seat and sing off-key too loudly. I heart music, and these are the songs this year that inspired all those things in me. Since I started it in about April, it will only be representative of my favorite songs of the second half of 2005 and whatever I can remember of the first half. These aren’t necessarily new songs; some are, some aren’t. They’re what I just can’t get enough of this year, whether I’ve loved them before or not.
